About Cape Jasmine Gardenia Flower

 Gardenia jasminoides commonly known as gardenia,cape jasmine , cape jessamine, danh_danh, or jasmin ,is an evergreen flowering of the coffee family Rubiaceae, It is originated in Asia and is most commonly found growing wild in Vietnam , southern china, korea, Taiwan, japan Myanmar, India and Bangladesh. 


      Scientific name :Gardenia jasminoides. 
      Family:Rubiaceae.
      Higher classification:Gardenia.
      Kingdom : plantae. 
      Order:gentianales.
      Rank:species.

It is rare availability for us... In some cases only visible but we can't get correct flower of this... But same as like so many is there.... 

 Availability: It was first grown in the United States in 1762 in the Charleston garden of Alexander Garden who had moved in there 10 years Previsiouly. 

  The common name cape jasmine and cape jessamine derived from the earlier belief that the flower originated in cape of good . 

Uses:The fruit has Crocin which is used in yellow dye , which is good for clothes and food. 
  
Polynesian people in the Pacific Islands . 

  Use this fragrant blooms in their flower necklaces which are called Ei 
 Cook Islands. 


 * And this used these jasminoides (fruit) used these Chinese traditional medicine "drain fire"and treat certain "febrile "conditions.
